Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, The End is nigh! Yes after many an enjoyable year rocking and recording, Persistence are to cease performing. The split, might we add, is amicable, and as you may be aware, is because Stu is off on his travels to America and beyond. Our final gigs will take place in November/December, so if you would like to say your farewells then come along.
Hopefully, before the big heave ho, we will have a new and final CD of songs for you to shed a tear to in remembrance, so stay tuned for that. Finally we would like to just express our gratitude to all those who are brave enough to call themselves "Our fans", all the gig venues we played and their staff, all the bands we have supported and have supported us, everyone who has shown an interest in our music and our lives in general and the many people who have helped with our recordings and various tinkering over the years - you know who you are and Persistence are grateful to you

As with all things though, life goes on, and the remaining members will continue to write new material, albeit under a different moniker. We will let people know of our exploits along the way, and may finally bite the bullet and get our own MySpace pages.
